Linnda Durre'

      Linnda Durré has had two careers since she was 18 – psychology and entertainment. She is an acclaimed writer, author, psychotherapist, expert witness, business consultant, adjunct psychology professor, international speaker, and corporate trainer, who is regularly sought out for her expertise in business consulting, keynote speeches, She has appeared on 60 Minutes, Oprah, The O'Reilly Factor (twice), Good Morning America, The Today Show, and the national and/or local news on ABC, NBC, Fox, CBS, PBS, NPR, ESPN (4x), The Disney Channel (5x).  She has been a licensed psychotherapist CA (#M12566), WA (MFT #852 & LMHC #2619), and FL (#MH6058).  Dr. Durre' has spent 49 years as an expert witness, case consultant and/or jury selection consultant. She has been qualified in twelve (12) states as an expert witness.

 

     For her entertainment career: when she was 19, she was asked to be a comedy staff writer for NBC's "Laugh In" but was in college full time and was unable to do both. Then when she was 22, her legendary agent, the late Irving Salkow, sold one of her TV series to Aaron Spelling and she was admitted to WGA - the Writers Guild of America. She is a member of SAG-AFTRA and ASCAP.  She was accepted to Edward Albee's Master Class in Playwriting for her play, "The Viewing." She adapted the play to a short film, which she directed, produced, cast, and shot it in two days for $4,000. It won Best Short Script from the FMPTA and was an official entry in FLIFF - the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival and the Delray Beach Film Festival and the Best of Florida/Made in Florida Film Festival She is a director, actor, writer, script /book editor and consultant, and an acting coach. For the past seven (7) years, she has been on the Board of Directors for Children Mending Hearts founded by Lysa and Grant Heslov. Grant is the writing, directing and producing partner of George Clooney.
